and im sick and tired of taxation
so me and some friends decided to
write an' pass a little law allowing freedom from you
i know i sound a little whiney i dont care
but i also know that taxin us is really unfair
so if ya catch my drift i think its really cool
so back off cuz we will war and you dont wanna get schooled
so i betcha we can get by on our own
if you could please just go away and leave us alone
we dont wanna pay some more for our printing and tea
if you keep forcing us we'll dump it into the sea
i'll tell you what our big news has to offer
it clearly states right there no forcing us to pay for
this or that; ya'll know what this means
it means no taking our bacon, its all nice and clean
so if you don't like what i'm proposin'
you shoulda treated us better, no sendin out the gunmen
i think in a few years it'll be straightened out
